for lazy radiologist who don't wanna push the eject button of their computer, what about an eject toolbar button (maybe as a popup submenu item below the Open CD icon)?

You still have to reach the CD tray with your hand to insert/remove the media ;-) We'll think about this. Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm think about an option to automatically eject the CD-ROM when you are viewing it in RadiAnt and when you close the application.

It not unusual to insert a CD, view it in RadiAnt and forget to eject it after reviewing the images... so when you realize you did not give him/her back and the patient is gone you got to phone...

so I wonder if it's possible that RadiAnt could eject it automatically when you close the program window

You can make RadiAnt eject CD after import to DB is done via options.xml:

<db>
<showonstart>0</showonstart> <!-- after program is started show: 0 - empty viewer window, 1 - database window -->
<autoviewer>0</autoviewer> <!-- automatically display imported files in the viewer: 0 - none, 1 - CD/DVD disc -->
<autoeject>0</autoeject> <!-- 1 - automatically eject CD/DVD disc after import is finished -->
</db>
