Any development regarding a DICOM print feature?
Jul 29, 2015 03:26 PM
by RadiAnt
You mean printing DICOM images on DICOM printers? Such printers are becoming less and less popular these days. We currently don't have plans for such feature.
As for printing on "normal" printers, it will be implemented but no time frame is set for it yet.

Good to know that some kind of print feature is on your plans.

Suggestions:

- A good and easy layout manager for the print output, including assimetric layouts and different paper sizes.
- Export the print layout to a DICOM file / screen capture.

Thanks

Please add a function to print images at least on a paper printer.
With a high-quality this is often enough.
Thank you.

A specific time-frame cannot be stated, however, paper printing will certainly be added sooner than DICOM printing.

How can get the SDK of DICOM Viewer ?
Nov 7, 2020 02:13 PM
by RadiAnt
There is no SDK/API for RadiAnt.

Currently the integration with 3rd party systems can be performed via command line or url protocol:

These are a few examples how to download specific images from PACS locations:

printing dicom function is desirable, but now, it is clearly no longer for high scientific medical purposes.
It makes me sad when doctors or patients want frome me film print.
we make many hundreds of images for most patients, which is pointless to try to fit on film.

anyone can help? We use a paid version of RADIANT DICOM VIEWER (2020.1), but when the images are printed (after JPEG EXPORT), all imagens are "blank" (i.ibb.co/B2Wt4Ys/Whats-App-Image-2021-03-15-at-12-05-18-PM.jpg)

Thank you so much!

Are the exported JPEG images ok when you view them on your monitor? Only after printing they are "blank"?

YES! It's occur when we print images direct by windows image print resource (right click on exported image > Print).

This bug was catch in the new radiant dicom viewer version... we use it since 2019 and this is first time that reported

We're analyzing this issue. However, it looks like this has something to do with the printer/driver.

I agree. Film printing is an anachronism. This technology should disappear like floppy disks and other outdated things

Hello Radiant team
I don't know your sales in Uganda or Africa in general or other 3rd world countries. The structure of Uganda's health system, and how it relates to Katine, is detailed below:
Village health teams/community medicine distributors. ...
Health centre II. ...
Health centre III. ...
Health centre IV. ...
Hospital.
Uganda's healthcare system works on a referral basis; if a level II facility cannot handle a case, it refers it to a unit the next level up
Most of the time the doctors request for films because the diagnostics are done separately from privately ran Diagnostic centers.internet and network sharing coverage is still very low. So by including the print function in Radiant would save alot.
Thanks.

The structured reports can be opened in an external web browser and printed there: https://www.radiantviewer.com/dicom-viewer-manual/structured-reports.html

The list of studies can be exported from the local archive to a CSV file (right click on the selected studies Export->Export to CSV.
