This is truly a "simple, lightweight & efficient DICOM viewer". Great work!!

Just wanted to confirm if it is possible to view dicom tags? and may be you can think about an option of tunin them "on" & "off" as per need.

Thanks

Manish,

We're glad to hear that you like our viewer! As for your question - currently there is no way to view all the tags of a DICOM file but such feature will certainly appear. Customization of displayed tags is also an option we will introduce at some point.

Best regards,
RadiAnt Team

Hi!Radiant is fantastic! We use it for CD\DVD distribution and it gets huge amount of praises!
Regarding this DICOM tags support, we have a problem with Dental CT scans, because we use the tags to identify the teeth and also measures from the CT modality. But without them the viewer cannot be used anymore. This feature would be the cherry on top of the cake!
Do you have a prediction on when this will be available?

Thanks!

Thanks! As for Dental CT scans - you mean DICOM overlays (annotations, measurements)? It's hard to tell the timeframe for this feature right now but we'll do our best to make it happen quickly.

You're welcome!
Currently the only "beta" version available is 0.50RC for installation. As soon as it proves error-free we will upload CD/DVD version, too.

Greetings,

@RadiAnt

I've just figured out that some DICOM annotations are not yet displayed by latest builds...

In my Siemens MRI we have a "study comment" field we usually use in MSK cases where we write "left" or "right"... this DICOM overlay should appear at the bottom center of the images...

K-PACS and iQ-ViEW show that overlay. Radiant doesn't

Right, currently only "Image comments" field is displayed. "Study comments" will be added in the next release. Thanks for pointing this out.

it would be nice to have options to let users decide which DICOM tags should be shown on image and which should no...

for example my MR studies have very long accessions number that I really don't care to see... I'd like a custom DICOM annotation setup with just patient demographics, study date, series/images number

maybe it would be cool to have a button to toggle "full DICOM annotations" mode and "limited user-defined DICOM annotation" mode.

This feature is already on our to do list. Scheduled for sometime next year... Cannot promise any exact date at this time.

thanks, there's no hurry...
it's not a crucial feature but an enhancement.
take your time.
