ESOT modality: what does it mean?

Hi there, yesterday I viewed a CD with bone densitometry images with RadiAnt.
I noticed that RadiAnt labeled it as ESOT in the DICOM modality field.

I'm curious to now what ESOT stands for since I did not find anything about this in the internet.

for what I know the correct tag for Bone Densitometry (X-Ray) would be BMD.

Never seen such modality before. Perhaps some error in this file's creation process...

ESOT does not seem to be valid value according to the DICOM standard:

dicom.innolitics.com/ciods/ct-image/general-series/00080060

I second the "error in the file creation process" theory.

found another CD with bone densitometry that RadiAnt labels as "ESOT" modality... it was obtained on a GE Dexa scanner

the images are just dicomized screenshots of the reporting template

I still wonder what the acronym ESOT stands for...

Externally Scanned OTher ?
