is there a way to change the folder in which studies are saved?

I have an SSD for my OS and a regular HD for my data storage.
Is there a way to reassign where files are downloaded or saved so that I don't have to use the default folder? Would it be a registry change or is there an easier fix?
thanks

thanks for the advice but I think that this only assigns where the images are exported not where the downloaded images are stored?

The files downloaded from PACS locations are stored in a temporary folder and are deleted when the window is closed.
The path to this folder is:
c:\Users\_USERNAME_\AppData\Local\RadiantViewer\tmp\
