Windows 10 blocks installation

Windows 10 users need to make sure that the option to allow Windows 10 to install apps downloaded outside the Windows Store is enabled.

 

If non-store apps are blocked by Windows 10, when you try to run the installer, the following (or similar) warning message will be displayed:

Click Start menu button and open the Settings app.

Navigate to Apps > Apps & features.

In the Choose where to get apps section, select Anywhere option from the drop-down box to stop Windows 10 from blocking programs downloaded outside the Windows Store.
