Orthanc

Hello

I have been trying to connect RadiAnt to Orthanc with no success so far. I have Orthanc installed on the same computer as Radiant. When I pinged from Radiant it showed red but when I pinged it from Orthanc it was good. I've also got DCM4CHEE set up on the same computer and it is working fine with Radiant. Using another DICOM viewer (Synedra) to connect to Orthanc is also working fine. So it seems to be a problem with Radiant. Any tips on how to troubleshoot?

Thanks very much for your reply. That video is awesome. I was using localhost as the server IP address and that's why it didn't work. Now I've changed it to 127.0.0.1 as shown in the video and it works like a charm!! Not sure why that'd be the case. I use localhost for DCM4CHEE and it works fine.

Tim, it appears that in some configurations the "localhost" name is not properly translated to the IP address (127.0.0.1), we will fix this in the next release.

Not possible query a remote orthanc server with radiant?

When properly configured, RadiAnt works with remote Orthanc server without any problems.
Please refer to the manual for troubleshooting or use some local PACS specialized IT support.
