Hello everyone,
I am experiencing a persistent crash with RadiAnt DICOM Viewer on Windows 10 Home Single Language (Insider Build 26200).
This issue happens on version 2024.1.0.9600 x64 and it still persists even after testing with the latest version 2026.1.
The application crashes instantly whenever I press Ctrl + O or try to open a file via the top menu. However, drag-and-drop works perfectly, and the software renders the DICOM images without any issues once they are loaded into the viewer.
The crash report indicates a conflict when calling the native Windows File Open Dialog API. Memory usage is completely normal (around 74 MB) at the time of the crash. This behavior started recently, most likely triggered by a recent Windows Insider cumulative update.
Has anyone encountered this specific issue with recent Windows builds? Is there a configuration or workaround to restore the native open dialog functionality?Thank you in advance for your help!
