|A nice feature (and for me a purchase argument) would be to reexport DICOM files. Our Siemens scanner for example exports multiple sequences in to an IMA file series that files are not named after the sequences itself, but just have a continuously number in the filename. It would be nice to select one or more sequence in Radiant and reexport them as DICOM (just those selected sequences).||Jul 15, 2012 01:33 PM
|DICOM export is a feature that we plan to introduce in the next version of RadiAnt DICOM Viewer. Stay tuned! :-)||Jul 15, 2012 09:09 PM
do you have an approximate timeline for this?

Many thanks for your fantastic Dicom viewer!
When do you think you'll have the first beta version ready for testing the Dicom export funtion?

DICOM export... I know I promised it a while ago.
So, we'll do our best to prepare a beta version for ...tomorrow :-)

|Hi .. I think I was the first who requested this functionality. Thank you so much for your efforts, I will test and report back :)|

Thank you very much for letting us test a beta version, I'm quite impressed with it sofar - will keep testing.
Many thanks also for numbering the images with a series number followed by image number!
Some initial thoughts/requests:
- If possible, can there be an option in the export dialog that, if selected, would export each series to a separate folder?
- The ability to select a subset of the series for conversion would also be useful.
- I often end up deleting some series, for example, the localizers. Would it be possible to implement a right-click context menu that works with the series navigation bar on the left?
E.g., right-click on a series icon would allow you to either:
1) remove the series from radiant dicom viewer OR
2) atually delete the series (i.e. the image files) from the disk.
The ability to do this on multiple series at once (select multiple series, then right-click) would be good.
Once again, thank you for letting us test this functionality!!

|+1 for subset series export|
I think that a menu with series list and checkboxes would be great: the user could select just the series that he wants to be exported.
