I was wondering if it is possible to enable this function,it will help us a lot in saving patients ct and mr, and access to it easily, like in osirix, I don't want to buy a mac just to get osirix, i prefere PC and radiant is very quick.

We appreciate that you enjoy using RadiAnt. However, a database functionality will not be released before some other features are ready (3D MPR/MIP, VR). So most probably it will be next year.

Software projects are hard to estimate accurately. Hence we gave up on it a while ago.
Anyway, this is now our top priority feature, which makes it closer than ever.

First, I want to share my opinion Radiant is the most beautiful, quick, userfriendly DICOM viewer, at least for me. They have done many many things so far, and let us use it freely so THANK YOU very much. They do not have to do anything more, it is not a must but it would be better if they keep updating, they already do.
Database or datasets would be nice but I am sure it requires extensive infrastructure. So please do not rush Radiant Team. It would not be ready next year, and that would not be a big loss.

Thank you for your kind words, Ismail! We can confirm that we've been working on a local database for some time now. We will not be rushing things, however. It has to be done properly.

what are the current capabilities in terms of accessing DICOM files from various networked locations? In other words, could Radiant search out prior imaging studies from different networked physical locations?

RadiAnt has PACS client capability, which means that you can search for studies on PACS servers and retrieve specific studies from them.
