anonymizing studies

Is it possible to anonymize studies when exporting as DICOM filetype? The option goes away when I switch from JPEG to DICOM.

Also, is it possible to save MPR's in DICOM format after making various adjustment to the axes?

Currently there is no DICOM anonymization feature in RadiAnt.
MPRs can only be exported as JPEGs.
We will work on both features in the future.

Anonymizing would allow many clinical researchers to use radiant in daily workflow. I think it is a feature that has been requested for several years now, and would just require stripping of the DICOM HLA headers. Frankly it is the only reason I still use Osirix and have an old Mac Pro. I would like to add my request for this feature.

Actually, this feature might soon be added to RadiAnt. The feature set for version 2021.1 is closed. However, we may sneak anonymization into 2021.2

It would be a great feature which all by itself would justify buying a licence.

Further question partly related to this matter. Once you a few anonymized cases, the cases get random order. I wonder what DICOM tag does Radiant use as primary for sorting cases in the study bar?

USing the A key the images get anonymized but the patient details can still be seen in the right top and corner. How can I remove those?

@Jonas

Cases are sorted by patient name, patient ID, birth date.

@Sandeep

You can try Shift + F12

Please dedicate some time to anonymizing features - it is incredibly important for HIPAA. Thank you
