cannot open dicom files from a local network folder

I have installed today the trial version of RadiAnt.
I need to open dicom files which are stored on the File Server of my workplace, and not on my own PC.
However, when I try to drag the files into the RadiAnt I get the massage:
"No Dicom Images Found (would you like to scan another folder for dicom files?)"

Similarly, when I try to open the same files by using the menu command "Open Dicom Folder", I see that the File Server is not listed as an option so I still cannot open them.

Currently, the only way I can use RadiAnt to view these dicom files, is by copying them to my own PC. Then, I can successfully drag them into RadiAnt (or open them with the menu option).

I need to look at my files and copying all of them is not practical.
Do you have a solution?

Thank you,
Tami

Problems not from Radiant. You need local IT specialits.

Perhaps there is some issue with the permissions granted to the user running RadiAnt.
RadiAnt supports can open files from both local and network locations, provided that it has proper access to these locations.
