Cost for Updates after 12 Months?

Greetings, I'm a long time user (and fan) of Radiant and am happy to purchase the full license. However, I am unclear on exactly how much the updates will cost after the 12-months of free updates. Thus, don't know if the permanent license is actually cost effective if the updates will cost close to the yearly price. Thanks!
