We are testing your viewer to include it with our disc publisher and we have two customer questions :

1) Could you tell me if it's possible to configure chain of color for the fusion tool ?

2) Performance question 3 or 4 minutes to load a full CD ?

Thanks in advance

Dear Fatma,

1) This is not configurable currently. In latest beta versions you a have a few color scales to choose from, however. Change is performed by clicking on the color scale box.
2) The scan duration time depends on several factors - CD media/CD drive quality, the number of images, etc. Our test CD with about 2800 images (600MB) takes about 4-5 minutes to load fully. Of course you can browse loaded series immediately, during media scan.

Kind regards,
Maciej

First of all, thanks a lot for your answer.

Could you tell me if you have you already planned a new version with the configuration of color scales for fusion (we can't install a beta version on customer site).

Best regards, Fatma

Dear Maciej,

I have made some tests with your viewer yesterday.

And I wondered if you could not improve the user perception regarding the performance by loading preferentially series displayed in the viewer rather than loading all series together.

What do you think?

Kind regards, Fatma

Fatma,

If the series are located in separate folders on the CD then after clicking series thumbnail it will be prioritized. This cannot work however if the images of different series are mixed in the same folders (which sometimes is the case). Still, a few things can be done to improve the performance. We'll be working on it.

Greetings,
Maciej
