My IT dept have installed radiant on my hospital-owned office laptop.
how do i view images off the PACS system?
Where /how will i find 'dicom'images? Do I have to connect the laptop to the PACS server?

Hi,
RadiAnt doesn't support PACS client functionality. You can only open DICOM files stored on physical media (cd, flash, local hdd). We hope to add this feature in 2012.

Radiant-PACS would be awesome.
actually I use K-PACS to receive and archive cases from my MR system but the software is kinda old (2006) and slower compared to Radiant viewer.

Radiant PACS - god bless the developes, would go a long way looking at the progress we have seen.
Tommy for PACS capabilities try clearcanvas it's good n with little tweaking of plugins you can import bmps non-dicom images n many more utilities
Ofcourse not simple and sweet as Radiant !
