how to improve dicom image quality to see as small objects as possible please?

The quality of "small objects" depends on the size of the pixel in the DICOM file. This size is determined by the parameters of the scanner/device the image was acquired with. There's not very much you can do to improve the quality in the viewer...

dan, CT usually makes 512x512 pixels images, but some of them can scan in 1024x1024 mode (very useful for small objects such as inner ear). You should try it on your CT.

If higher matrix is available.
Otherwise try to adjust the FOV on the acquisition machine.
