RadiAnt DICOM Viewer - Discussion Forum
medical software licence

Any updates on when we might get this? Just wondering... as it might be useful to have some extra workstations here in the hospital...

Also, a bit OT, anyone knows if it is legally ok to use RadiAnt for non-radiologic clinical review of images ... i.e. as you would use a CD embedded viewer... (in the EU).

I mean the viewers that we use in hospital that are not meant for radiologists (ie. just for us surgeons) are also not "zugelassen" for the reporting.. so.

Currently we are still focused on developing new features. So no time frame for a CE marked version.

You certainly cannot legally use RadiAnt for reporting studies as a radiologist. However, there should be no problem with using it to show the studies that were originally reported on a certified diagnostic workstation.

we all know that this CE stuff and certified diagnostic workstation is just legal bull***t ...

RadiAnt is much better than a lot of CE marked DICOM softwares, even if you cannot use it officially...
