pacs beta

i received beta today and tried it at once.
i did the pacs settings. then i could query mr or ct but i couldn't download the patients. maybe the problem is that i couldn't find where it downloaded. the downloaded patiens will be seen on the left as they before when we opened them from a directory, won't they?
maybe there is a problem of network, i don't know.

Are you sure that you have also configured your MR or CT station to properly send images to RadiAnt? You have to add the IP of the computer with RadiAnt, port (default: 11112) and AE title (default: RADIANT) to the configuration of the PACS location you're trying to download studies from. The images should appear as they usually do when opened from folders.
The next beta version will give more troubleshooting information.

i did the configuration right i think. because another pacs program works properly. i think Windows firewall settings or antivirus program maybe the cause of the problem. i am not good at configuring them.
anyway, you should renew the patient view on the left. for example i want to delete one patient that i have reported and leave others. also able to collaps the series and see only the patient name in queue will be good when i am looking for a specific patient.

I would love to help beta test this. Any way I can be given access?

The second release of RadiAnt private beta version is on the way. All our testers will be notified as soon as it's available (including you, Ashley!)

I still cannot download cases from my Siemens MR scanner.

I change the port and AET title of Radiant to match those of iQ-VIEW (which can do both query and retrieve on that scanner).

Radiant can query the scanner archive but fails to download images.

I hope next beta will have some sort of debug tool to see what's wrong in the connection

as an additional info I had to use port 105 instead of RadiAnt default 1112 port.
could this part of the issue?

When conducting initial tests try to turn the windows firewall off.
I can query & retrieve exams from DCM4CHEE PACS without problems.

DCM4CHEE does not require radiant's AE TITLE for query and retrieve to work. Osirix requires radiant AE TITLE in the "locations" list, otherwise retrieve wont work.

Tommy, you should check your network (IP) and firewall settings..

Hello
Idid a test with PACS DCM4CHEE and all GE machines, and the image transfer works fine, query retrieve without problem.

I think that Radiant is excellent because the PC does not store locally the images, Its ideal for use in PCs in the hospital, without big PC resources.

I try to send images from machines to radiant but does not work, this is normal?

Good to hear that the PACS feature works for you :-)
You cannot receive images sent from other machines.
All transfers have to be initiated by RadiAnt computer.
Future "workstation" version will support this feature.

Marcel --> DMC4CHEE requires AET.... at least my pacs serwers with dmc4chee :)

Tommy --> run (wireshark, tcpdump) on client & server and look at the trafic and dont forget to check logs on pacs :)

Most viewers run silently in Administrative Tools/Local services.
For instant:
From Administrative tools/ local services/ I stopped eFilms process, and RADIANT it's ready to work.
Great job.
Can you implement an enhancing(sharpness)function ? -important to study lung tissue and pulmonary parenchima.
Once again, womderful job and many thanks.
