It would be great to be able to save some recurrent PACS queries (i.e. DX last week, all modalities today, MRI yesterday etc. etc) and save them as presets so you can load them faster when you need it

Sure, we thought about it long time ago. There's gonna be presets for sure :-)

the PACS search presets finally saw the light in latest 4.1.17 beta.
I love it, is intuitive and well designed and represent a real time-saver.
I'm gonna ask you a minor upgrade... is it possible to add separators in the list of saved PACS search presets?
actually I have this list
DX today
DX yesterday
MR today
MR yesterday
MR before noon
MR after noon
US today
US yesterday
MG today
MG today
I'd like to have line separators in the menu to obtain something like this:
DX today
DX yesterday
---------------
MR today
MR yesterday
MR before noon
MR after noon
---------------
US today
US yesterday
---------------
MG today
MG today
---------------
I think this could make "eye selection" of the presets more immediate.

Please try 4.1.18. Hold Shift while adding a preset to insert a separator before it.

can there be "custom date" in the presets. not range. one day only. because in this situation i have to select two days for viewing one day.

We've been doing improvements to the PACS search window recently, so adding a few lines of code was not a big deal ;-)

nice!!! the "custom date" is one of my old enhancement requests too.
regarding the separators it works fine.
you can even edit the pacs.xml file just adding separator="1" after the name preset
i.e.
<p name="MRI today" separator="1" dt="4" dtfrom="1510041264" dtto="1510041264" mfid="1048592" mfval="">
<modalities>
<m>MR</m>
</modalities>

You can also rearrange the presets in the pacs.xml file by moving <p>...</p> blocks up or down.

yes, I've already "hacked" that .xml to achieve that. :-)
