PET/CT scans

Certain outside PET/CT scans will not open at all ("No DICOM files found") or only certain images will open, such as axial uncorrected PET images, but no other of the series including the CT images. Other times, the entire study can be seen no problem. Why is this? Anything that can be done to fix this?
