Washed out Fused PET CT Images

Why do I occasionally get washed out PET CT Images when I fuse them?

You probably need to adjust the window values (WL/WW) to obtain a proper contrast.
"The range of values represented on a color scale is adjusted by using the windowing tool in the panel with the series used as overlay (PET)."
