I am using Radiant 4.6.9.18463 on Windows 10 64 bit
There is a problem opening DICOM folders from within Radiant. It is able to open a folder correctly for the first time only. However when the studies are closed it is impossible to select any other folder. Radiant seems to be stuck on the first folder. I have tried the following:
(1) closing Radiant and reopening - behaviour is the same
(2) shutting down Windows and restarting - behaviour is the same
(3) restoring an older version (4.6.5). This worked correctly previously but now it behaves the same as 4.6.9 and I cannot open a different folder.
(4) renaming the folder - Radiant then behaves as expected. However it then gets stuck on the new folder and I have to rename that one afterwards so I can open the next.
The same behaviour applies to opening a folder where I can save the pictures.
This bug is very annoying. Do you any comments or advice? Are you able to fix it?

I'm not from team, just user.
I think problems in Windows. I'm using Radiant on different machines with difeent OS (Windows 7 32, Windows 7 64, Windows 10 64) and different users (realy bad users). And there is Never Any Problem with Radianе and folders.

Eisenhorn is most probably right here.
The symptoms you describe show that there is something in your system that blocks access to the files/folders RadiAnt tries to read.
The fact that 4.6.5 worked previously and now it doesn't substantiates my suspicion. Nothing's changed in RadiAnt, but something has changed in your system.

Thank you for the comments. It appears to be the same problem as this thread:
https://www.radiantviewer.com/dicom-viewer-forum/opening-files/246/
from user Jan Hellings.
I cannot find what has changed in Windows that would cause this behaviour and I note that no other program has any problem with file opening or changing a directory. I am convinced that there is a problem in the way Radiant Viewer interacts with Windows file opening.
I tried completely uninstalling the program and re-installing but the behaviour remains the same. Perhaps it has stored some information somewhere (Registry?) that needs updating?
Radiant Viewer is an excellent program otherwise but is now becoming difficult to use.

I can reproduce the bug reliably and it IS a problem with Radiant Viewer. It is very simple:
When there are more than 100 (i.e. 101 or more) sub-directories in the current default directory, Radiant Viewer will only show access to the last used directory. User RadiAnt (on 3/12/2018) was right that something had changed on my system - and that was when the number of subdirectories went over 100.
The current workaround I use is to make Radiant look in a directory where there are no DICOM files. It is then able to display the directory structure correctly.
Please would you fix this.
