Zoom, pan, rotate ALL in series

If I load in a series of DT slices from a folder containing all the DICOM files I can nicely scroll through the stacks UNTIL I choose to either zoom, pan or rotate the image. When I do this it only seems to apply to the single, specific image I am looking at rather than all the images in that series.
Is there a way to perform a function that applies to all images so that when I scroll through they still "lie on top of" each other?

I forgot to add, all my synchronization options are greyed out.
Is there perhaps a missing DICOM tag in my files?

I have discovered that if I change the modality tag in the DICOM file to CT then the sync buttons are enabled and then by enabling sync everything works as I expect (e.g. if I zoom one image in the series then they all zoom).
Is it possible to have this feature also apply to the DT modality for image series?
