cannot activate paid version of viewer

I am having a problem activating the paid version of the viewer. There is no updated icon on my desktop. There are two older icons from prior rentals. I have changed the app to indicate Windows 10 should accept apps from 'anywhere.' I have the download waiting in the wings but I cannot open it to use. I have been at this for a while now and need help. Thanks.

Please download the viewer from https://www.radiantviewer.com/download/?src=mbst&f=setup
Then follow the installation instructions: https://www.radiantviewer.com/dicom-viewer-manual/installation.html

After you have installed the viewer, you can activate it with your serial number: https://www.radiantviewer.com/dicom-viewer-manual/paid-license.html

Let us know directly via email if you still have any issues.

I have entered my Serial #, the correct License ID was in place and yet the icon on my screen is an old one (no where does anything suggest that I have the version 4.0.1 64 bit instead of the 2020.2.3 version that I have used for trials for a long time). When I put a CD into the drive and click on the CD icon on the program, nothing suggests the new paid version. How do I know I am using the new version?
Thanks,
Richard
